Drive

England’s Golf Coast is well served by the UK motorway network, with easy access from the M6 to all destinations within England’s Golf Coast.

Liverpool

• From the north, exit the M6 at junction 26 and follow the M58 towards Liverpool.
• From the south, exit the M6 at junction 21a and follow the M62 towards Liverpool.
• From North Wales / Chester follow the M53 towards Liverpool and use the Mersey Tunnels to access Liverpool.

Lytham St. Annes

• Exit the M6 at junction 32 and follow the M55.

Southport

• From the north, exit the M6 at junction 31 and follow the A59 through Preston, following signs for Southport.
• From the south, exit the M6 at junction 26 and follow the M58 towards Liverpool. Exit the M58 at junction 3 and follow the A570 to Southport.
• For Formby, Formby Ladies and West Lancashire GC exit the M58 at junction 7 and take the A5207 followed by the A565.

Wirral

• From the north, exit the M6 at junction 26 and follow the M58 towards Liverpool. When entering Liverpool, follow the A59 (City centre, Birkenhead, Wallasey). Take the Wallasey tunnel to access the Wirral.
• From the south, exit the M6 at junction 20a and follow the M56 (North Wales). Exit the M56 at junction 15 and take the M53 North to access the Wirral.
