What advice would you offer to someone playing Royal Lytham for the first time?

Don't keep a score. Seriously, the course will just beat you up, so don't worry about the numbers. Just enjoy playing here because it's a special place.

What's the most enjoyable part of your job?

Being around golfers and people who love the game, especially Ben and Simon, my colleagues

Who would your ideal four-ballpartners be?

Colin Maclaine, Bob Spencer and Gordon Garment - my regular Friday four-ball and three people with whom it's a great pleasure to play golf.
