What advice would you give someone playing the course for the first time?

Accuracy is the key to scoring well at Hesketh. The wind is also a big factor, so keeping your shots low and under the wind as far as possible is also a big advantage.

What's been your favourite moment at Hesketh?

Playing night golf for Children In Need in 2005 was lots of fun and helped a great cause.

Who would join you for your perfect four-ball at Hesketh?

I'd have to pick Tiger Woods, the greatest player in the game right now. Then I'd choose Ben Hogan, and finally Seve Ballesteros.

What's the best part of your job?

Passing on my knowledge to the members and hopefully improving their game.
