Founded in 1896, Formby Ladies is a charming links course situated between Southport and Liverpool and close to the shoreline of the Irish Sea. Set amongst pine trees and sand dunes, it lies in the central area of the property owned by Formby Golf Club.
The nearby National Trust nature reserve boasts a wide variety of flora and fauna - including protected species such as natterjack toads, sand lizards and red squirrels. Measuring 5,374 yards, the course provides the visitor with a varied challenge, the small greens and sandy bunkers, the narrow fairways and heathery rough demand skill and precision.
