Church Farm

Jonny Bentley in the farm

Church Farm is no ordinary farm! Friendly animals, beautiful views, family events and an award-winning farm shop mean it’s a great place for a family day out. The farm is a three-time Wirral Tourism award winner, including Attraction of the Year 2012.

At weekends and in holiday periods, families can join in with tractor rides, goat feeding, guinea pig cuddling and egg collecting, plus take a trip on the new barrel train. Meet meerkats, goats, sheep, donkeys, alpacas, rabbits, ducks and more, and let off some steam on the pedal go-karts and crazy golf course, and in the sandpit and plank maze.

Book a children’s party or a school visit; you’ll meet all the animals and help harvest the organic fruit and vegetables. You can even take some produce home with you.

A day out to the farm should also include a trip to ‘Munch’ coffee shop, a perfect place to relax with a posh coffee, cake or light lunch. Kids love sitting in Timmy the Tractor and his trailer, watching the farm DVDs and playing with the toys.

You’ll be spoilt for choice at the farm shop, which stocks home-grown organic fruit and vegetables, local produce, and speciality groceries. From sticky toffee pudding to olives, cheeses, preserves, beers and gifts, there’s loads to choose from.

And book early for the farm family events. From the magical Santa Experience to the action-packed Easter Egg Hunt and the hilariously entertaining Fairytale Forest, there’s something for every season.

Church Farm is open Wednesday – Sunday 10am-5pm.
