A round at Wallasey concludes on this stunningly beautiful yet testing hole. Like most great holes, the tee shot presents a choice: a long carry over the hill and down onto the undulating fairway beyond, or a shorter shot played well left. The second shot is played semi-blind to a large links green with bunkers guarding thelanding area short and right. A two putt par is a fine result, and then it's just a short step to the terrace for some well-earned refreshments and a look back down the fairway at that astonishing view!
