Course Guide
Signature hole: 13th
'hog's back', 450 yards, Par 5
The drive across heather and gorse lands on a flat fairway that is wider than it appears from the tee. The second shot goes up and over a narrow gully to an elevated ridge, which falls away sharply to heather on the right and treacherous gorse on the left, leaving many layups to be played from hanging lies. The slope up to the plateau green will deflect all but the most accurate of approaches and favours a shot from the left-hand side. Getting down in five is a relief, and any four a birdie well-earned.
