The attractive village of Caton is situated in the Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Lancashire, 4.5 miles from the historic city of Lancaster. 4 The Croft is a versatile ground floor apartment in the centre of the village, suitable for all including wheel chair and ambulant users and visually impaired people. The disabled access conforms to the Level 2 disability access scheme. All doorways and corridors are extra wide, it has a ramped access, all sockets, switches, radiator valves are all at the same level on the walls and the kitchen units have been modified to be wheelchair friendly. The accommodation is designed to a practical and high specification. Hardwood and tiled floors throughout. Gas central heating, with living-flame modern gas fire. Ample parking on private car park. Garden (with stream) available for use. Large bathroom with contemporary wet-room shower and corner bath. Spacious lounge, TV, DVD, stereo and children’s games. Master bedroom with double bed. Second single bed bedroom (plus an additional folding bed). Bed-settee in Lounge to sleep extra guests at no additional charge. Kitchen has new appliances including fridge freezer, microwave, washer-dryer, dishwasher, gas cooker with electric hob, stable door to outside. The property is open over Christmas and New Year. We have just the two rates advertised (low season and high season) and do not increase prices during holiday periods, including summer, Christmas and New Year holidays. There is a weekly low season rate of £300, or £55 per night inlusive of utility costs, fresh linen and towels. In the high season it is a rate of £400 per week and £70 per night. We do part weeks and can start and end on any day of the week.

The apartment is ideally situated just 2 miles east of jct 34 of the M6. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales national parks are less than 30 minutes away. Blackpool and the Fylde Coast is easily accessible, and Manchester is just 1 hour away.
